Size Guide
We know how important it is to get your little one's glasses just right. A perfect fit means they'll actually want to wear them! Follow our simple guide to find BPA-free glasses that are comfortable, secure, and built for your child's active lifestyle.
Getting Started: 3 Simple Steps
Step 1: Measure Total Frame Width
What you're measuring: The complete width of the frame from side to side
How to do it: If your child already wears glasses, measure across the front. If not, measure across their face from temple to temple and add about 5-10mm
Why it matters: This ensures the glasses won't be too wide or narrow for their face
Step 2: Check the Nose Bridge
What you're looking for: The part that sits on your child's nose
How to check: Make sure it's not too wide (glasses slide down) or too narrow (pinches and leaves marks)
Parent tip: Little noses grow fast, so a slightly adjustable bridge is ideal
Step 3: Test the Temple Arms
What to check: The arms should reach comfortably behind their ears
Perfect fit: Secure enough for playground time, but not so tight they leave marks
Growing room: Kids grow quickly, so a little room for growth is smart

The Perfect Fit Checklist
Your child's glasses fit perfectly when:
✅ They don't slide down during normal kid activities
✅ No red marks after wearing them for a while
✅ They can see clearly through the center of the lenses
✅ Comfortable behind the ears - no squeezing or pressure
✅ They actually want to wear them! - The ultimate test
About PD (Pupil Distance) for Prescription Glasses
What's PD? It's the distance between your child's pupils - super important for prescription lenses to work properly.
Why PD Matters for Your Child
When prescription lenses aren't centered correctly over your little one's pupils, they might get:
- Headaches from eye strain
- Blurry vision even with the right prescription
- That "weird feeling" that makes them not want to wear their glasses
Measuring PD at Home
The Simple Method:
- Have your child look straight ahead (maybe at their favorite show!)
- Hold a ruler gently against their forehead
- Measure from the center of one pupil to the center of the other
- Take this measurement 2-3 times to be sure
Typical PD by Age (Just a guide - every child is different!)
- Ages 0-2: Usually 40-50mm
- Ages 2-4: Usually 45-52mm
- Ages 4-6: Usually 48-55mm
- Ages 6-8: Usually 50-58mm
- Ages 8-10: Usually 52-60mm
- Ages 10-12: Usually 54-62mm
- Teens & Adults: Usually 58-72mm
